Wine lovers, check out The Vines Resort & Spa in Mendoza, Argentina. In 2005, Pablo Gimenez Rii and Michael Evans saw the potential of Mendoza’s Uco Valley and decided to buy 650 acres of land in order to make their dream of owning a vineyard come true.
The Vines of Mendoza have since sold Private Vineyards to more than 230 owners from around the globe, expanded the property to more than 1,500 acres and established the highest-quality winemaking enterprise in the region.
The resort offers the perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort, featuring private villas, a luxurious spa, excellent service and breathtaking views of the Andes. At signature restaurant Siete Fuegos, legendary Argentine chef Francis Mallmann delights guests with regional fare and traditional asado feasts.
In the vineyards, guests can help harvest grapes or make their own custom wine while working beside world-renowned consultant winemaker Santiago Achával. Other experiences offered at the resort include exploring the rest of the grounds and rugged countryside by horseback, soaking up the sunshine in a yoga class, fly-fishing excursions on the Rio Mendoza, stargazing from your own private deck and more.
Throughout a guest’s trip, the staff shares the warmth and magic of Argentina so guests get a taste of what it’s like to be a local.
