EVA Air continues to expand its fleet with the introduction of a fourth Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.
The airline ferried the aircraft from its construction site in North Charleston, South Carolina, to Taiwan the same day it was completed. There, it began preparations to place the aircraft on regional and short routes.
“The Boeing Dreamliner’s reliable performance and advanced aviation technologies make it an excellent choice for the aircraft we need to continue growing our route network and providing our passengers with safe, comfortable flights,” said Clay Sun, president, EVA Air.
Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners are energy- and fuel-efficient, making them an excellent choice for airlines looking to expand route offerings. In total, EVA is adding 24 to its fleet; all will arrive by 2022.
