Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal 3 welcomes the new Etihad Airways First Class Lounge & Spa. The ultra-luxurious lounge is inspired by the world’s best hotels and restaurants, featuring 16 zones to cater to every travel need. Guests will find an a la carte restaurant, bar, fitness room, cigar lounge, Six Senses Spa, barbershop, nail bar, entertainment room, relaxation room, prayer room and children’s play space. The lounge is open to guests of The Residence, Etihad first class, Etihad Guest Exclusive, Etihad Guest Platinum or the equivalent on partner airlines. “Our new First Class Lounge & Spa is the jewel in the crown of our new lounge offerings worldwide and represents the best of our home city of Abu Dhabi,” said Peter Baumgartner, CEO, Etihad Airways. “It is a showcase of intelligent product design, innovation and superlative hospitality and service. This is not just a lounge but the ultimate airline hospitality experience and one which perfectly mirrors Etihad Airways’ evolution into the best airline in the world.” Guests of The Residence will enjoy a private space within the lounge, complete with a Savoy-trained butler, custom furnishings, a private shower room, prayer room and private dining. Remaining guests will enjoy impeccable service from highly trained hospitality and culinary professionals. Choose from Arabian, Indian or international dining options, including a five-course Emirati tasting menu. In addition to formal dining, casual bar and snack menus are provided. Each bespoke cocktail and mocktail is completely original. The cigar lounge features nine high-end brands, paired with select whiskies and cognacs. The Six Senses Spa includes three treatment rooms. First-class passengers receive one complimentary treatment, while Residence guests receive two complimentary treatments. The Style & Shave zone offers hair, shave, nail and shoe shine services, with one complimentary express treatment per passenger. “We are reimagining service and hospitality,” said Shane O’Hare, senior vice president, marketing, Etihad Airways. “Whilst this physical environment is truly remarkable, we have placed special emphasis on creating an aspirational luxury lifestyle space in line with our legendary inflight service offering.
