Those with a trip to Dublin planned for 2019 will have a new accommodation option thanks to the opening of The Devlin. Located on a charming street outside the Irish capital city in the neighborhood of Ranelagh, the hotel puts guests within 25 minutes of Dublin by bus.
This boutique hotel caters to stylish travelers who don’t necessarily need a lot of space, but are seeking quality and plenty of amenities. Of the 40 guestrooms, there are small ModPods of only 129 square feet that go for $140 per night, or TriPods of just less than 200 square feet with rates of $215 per night. The TriPod rooms feature a double bed, a single bed and a bunk bed, while all full bedrooms have Nespresso coffee machines, Smeg mini-refrigerators, Munchie Boxes and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.
Guests at The Devlin will have access to an Art Deco-inspired movie theater located beneath the hotel. The Stella Theatre Ranelagh will show indie, arthouse and cult films two times per day.
The rooftop restaurant, Layla’s, offers views of Dublin in the distance as well as the surrounding towns, mountains and, on clear days, the sea. Guests can grab a drink at Americana Bar before returning to their rooms for a night of Netflix.

It opened its borders to international visitors in 1974 and, while tourism definitely increased, residents are enduring “light” rush-hour traffic in Thimphu, its capital city, as the only Asian capital without traffic lights.

Apr 17, 2024Amansara Review
It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
