As an industry leader for business travel, Delta Air Lines is often recognized for its comfort and convenience. In keeping with this reputation, Delta now offers lie-flat seats on three transcontinental routes in addition to what is currently offered on its premium transcontinental service linking New York (JFK) with San Francisco (SFO) and Los Angeles (LAX).
The first route to have lie-flat seating will be Los Angeles International Airport to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, which will begin April 24, 2017. On June 8, Delta will begin offering a flight with lie-flat seats between both Boston (BOS) and San Francisco as well as between New York and San Diego (SAN).
While it will be the first airline to offer lie-flat seats on the DCA–LAX route, Delta is following JetBlue, which already offers lie-flat seats our its Mint service between Washington and Los Angeles.
