Delta Air Lines continues its expansion in Asia with new routes from its Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) hub to Seoul Incheon Airport, beginning next year.
The route comes as part of a partnership with Korean Air. As such, Delta passengers will have access to more than 80 destinations in Asia and a world-class customer experience at the new Terminal 2 in Incheon, home of Delta and Korean Air.
“Delta’s future is global and adding another nonstop flight to the joint venture’s Seoul-Incheon hub with Korean Air expands on our long-term vision,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said in a statement. “This will be a great driver of international commerce for the Minneapolis/St. Paul community and the State of Minnesota, as well as benefiting our customers, our employees and our owners.”
For the new route, Delta uses its refreshed Boeing 777-200ER with new cabins and features, including 28 Delta One suites, 48 Premium Select cabin seats and 220 main cabin seats. The plane has in-seat USB, 110V power ports, in-flight WiFi and new dynamic LED lighting at all seats.
Flights leaving South Korea feature in-flight menus in all cabins curated by Michelin two-star Chef Kwon Woo Joong.

May 6, 2024Explore Portugal on a Wine Tasting Tour with a Touch of History
All it takes is one glance at the grounds of Quinta Dona Maria, which includes a grand villa and surrounding gardens, to realize wine tasting in Portugal comes with a good dose of history. The vineyard is located in Estremoz, just northeast of the first-century Roman ruins found in Evora. In 1718 King João V built this estate for his lover, Dona Maria. When she died, the current owner’s ancestors purchased the land and have been making wine ever since. Taste the wine, which is terrific, especially the full-bodied red Dona Maria Grand Reserve. Then venture inside a building that stores large amphora vases, including one dating back to the 1200s.
