Del Mar Beach Hotel in Del Mar, California, is set to reopen this June following a multimillion-dollar redesign.

The beachside boutique hotel is home to 46 guestrooms and suites, plus two residences — The Beach House and The Bungalow. The design inspiration combines Mediterranean and Californian coastal influences with light wood accents, ocean-inspired artwork and warm beiges with blue accent colors throughout the property. Each room boasts a headboard mural of a coastal scene. Frette supplies all guestroom linens and bathrobes. International interior design firm Parisi Portfolio managed the redesign.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to our sophisticated coastal oasis here at Del Mar Beach Hotel,” said Ryan White, general manager, Del Mar Beach Hotel. “Our elevated beachside retreat offers something for everyone, whether guests are gathering to reconnect with each other, with themselves, or to simply experience one of SoCal’s most beautiful beachside towns.”

Enjoy a welcome glass of wine upon check-in. Take advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers to cycle around the area. Del Mar Beach Hotel will launch new programming including beachfront movies, stargazing activities and fitness classes.

Nightly rates start at $399. A second phase of the hotel’s transformation will debut later this year.

Hotel Saint Augustine Review

The first Bunkhouse hotel in Houston, Texas, is easily mistaken for garden apartments. Seventy-one guest rooms and suites encompass a tree-lined block. The hotel’s buildings are only two stories tall and also house a lobby, lounge, restaurant and event space. Tucked into a corner of the grounds sits a circular outdoor pool.
