United Airlines offers discounted fares on several round-trip routes during Chinese New Year, including Beijing (PEK) to Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), San Francisco (SFO) and New York (EWR); and Shanghai (PVG) to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX) and Seattle (SEA). An ongoing winter promotion at China World Hotel, Beijing offers a 15 per cent discount for booking best available rate and a 20 per cent discount for two-night stays, through Feb. 28.
The Royal Plaza on Scotts in Singapore offers 20 per cent off deluxe and premiere room bookings during Chinese New Year and a free breakfast buffet for two.
