Sharecare, a digital health company helping people manage their health in one place, and Forbes Travel Guide announced their partnership with Celebrity Cruises, the first cruise line to adopt the tech-enabled Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED system. Each ship in the fleet is Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED, a solution designed to aid in mitigating risks associated with the transmission of COVID-19 and other public health outbreaks.

The system works in conjunction with existing programs and protocols (in Celebrity’s case, its Healthy at Sea program) to ensure health and safety measures are comprehensive and can be verified by shipboard staff. Real-time tracking of the verification process is available to ensure Celebrity’s headquarters and each captain and crew can confirm adherence to various health and safety guidelines. Data generated can provide an audit trail of compliance and analytics, accessible to the captain and monitoring teams.

To maintain Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED status, each shipboard team will complete a verification process with a list of touchpoints on every ship between sailings. Initial passenger boarding will not begin until the ship has been health security “cleared” by its executive committee.

Sharecare partnered with Forbes Travel Guide in November 2020 to enable hotels, resorts, restaurants, sports and entertainment venues, and cruise lines to put health and safety at the center of guest experiences.
