From Aug. 9 to 17, Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, will vibrate to the sound of the world’s favorite Elvis Presley tunes as Elvis Week 2022 gets underway. This year’s event will be a fun-filled mashup of tributes, concerts, special events and celebrity appearances, including actress Barbara Eden, who starred with Elvis in the 1960 film Flaming Star and became a household name for her lead role in the long-running television series I Dream of Jeannie.
It wouldn’t be an Elvis-themed event without a tribute artist or two. Acts include a performance of Dean Z & Friends at Guest House Theater, along with appearances by past tribute artist winners Patrick Dunn and Ben Thompson.
A host of activities include guided Throwback Graceland Mansion tours, excursions to Memphis and to Elvis’ childhood home in Tupelo, Mississippi, tours of the Graceland Stables, The Ultimate Return tribute concert on Graceland Soundstage, after-parties and mansion tours, Elvis dance parties, a private tour and meet-and-greet with Priscilla Presley, and the Gospel Music of Elvis Presley Dinner Show.
Tickets are currently on sale via the Elvis Week website, along with a detailed schedule of events. If you want to be in the thick of the action, limited rooms are available for booking at The Guest House at Graceland.
