A summer celebration is coming to Hollywood’s Sunset Strip from the end of June through the beginning of September. This year is the event’s inaugural, and the theme for the summer-spanning event is A Tribute to the Summer of Love.
The event serves to reignite the movement of that specific summer through a celebration of the influence of pop culture through dining, music and entertainment.
“Over fifty years after the ‘Summer of Love,’ we look back at this influential time and are inspired by a socio-cultural movement stemming from a season of romance,” said Tom Kiely, president and CEO, West Hollywood Travel and Tourism Board.
Throughout the summer-long event, a number of venues along the Sunset Strip will host memorable events. For more information, go to the event’s website.
Visitors can book reservations through the West Hollywood Travel and Tourism Board to receive a $100 credit for a two-night stay during the event. Promotions also include half-price drinks at various venues, complimentary small plates and more.
