Singer Carly Rae Jepsen takes the stage at JetBlue‘s Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The concert, for ticketed customers and select contest winners takes place on Aug. 20, at 6 p.m.

The multi-platinum, Grammy nominated singer and songwriter will close out the airline’s weekly summer concert series. During the concert, Jepsen will preview her new album, “E·MO·TION” one day before its official release.

“E·MO·TION” is the follow-up to Jepsen’s U.S. debut album “Kiss,” which featured her break-out hit “Call Me Maybe.” The single climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in more than 47 countries and has sold over 18 million singles worldwide to date. It earned Jepsen 2012 GRAMMY nominations for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year.

Live From T5, an award-winning concert series, is the anchor of the JetBlue LIVE music platform, which features surprise performances from both emerging artists and top performing acts. Live From T5 concerts are held post-security for customers traveling through T5. Since 2009, JetBlue’s Live From T5 concert series has served as a platform for emerging artists and top pop acts. These surprise shows have featured performances by an array of artists across various musical genres including Taylor Swift, Ella Henderson, Aloe Blacc, Rixton, The Wanted, Ellie Goulding, Emeli Sande, Jason Derulo, Daughtry and more. Outside of T5, the airline has hosted exclusive performances by Lady Antebellum and Gary Clark Jr. as part of JetBlue LIVE.

Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
