Cape Cod’s popular Chatham Bars Inn rolls out its series of Enriching EsCAPES offering guests of the resort two special weekend getaways focusing on the best of Cape Cod this spring season.

Taking place April 17–19, the Fine Art Weekend kicks off with an evening cocktail reception and painting demonstration by award-winning Cape Cod acrylic painter Odin Smith. After breakfast at leisure on Saturday, guests spend the morning at the Chatham Creative Arts Center for a three-hour painting class with Smith, learning color mixing and brush techniques and receiving one-on-one instruction.

On Saturday afternoon, guests have the option of attending a jewelry class with Anne Hanson, a metalsmith who creates handmade jewelry in mixed metals, before heading outdoors for a guided nature walk.

Sunday offers guests the chance to enjoy the resort’s many amenities, including its private beach and intimate sea-inspired spa. Rates for the Fine Arts Weekend start from $399 per night.

From May 15–17, the resort’s Farm To Fork Weekend is designed for home gardeners and epicureans. Guests are greeted with a welcome amenity on arrival Friday evening and are able to enjoy the resort at their leisure through Saturday breakfast.

Saturday provides a farm tour and hands-on workshop with Chatham Bars Inn’s farm manager — Josh Schiff. Acquired by the resort in 2012, the farm grows essential kitchen ingredients and staple crops that supply virtually all of the produce for the resort’s restaurants with organic methods. Saturday evening features a harvest dinner at STARS hosted by Schiff, complete with wine pairings.
