British Airways introduced a new app for Executive Club members, providing new ways to collect and spend Avios, find offers and see personalized shopping options based on your balance. Other features include Avios purchases, statement access, transaction viewing, reward flight booking and British Airways Avios eStore shopping. The app complements the current British Airways app.
“We want to offer members more choice in how they interact with the British Airways Executive Club,” said Carolina Martinoli, director of brand and customer experience, British Airways. “The app is a great way that members can manage their balance and stay up-to-date with the latest ways to collect and spend Avios anywhere in the world. And with handy tools like the ability to see how many Avios are needed to book reward flights, we hope it’ll help members make the most of their balances.”
The app is available for free through the Apple App Store or Google Play. More features are planned for the app for the coming months.
Now, British Airways Executive Club members collect and spend Avios through flights with British Airways, Iberia and 11 oneworld partners, with flights to more than 1,000 destinations. Members additionally use Avios as partial payment on British Airways and American Airlines flights and at 60,000 partner hotels and 50,000 travel experiences.
