Always a posh address, The Beverly Hills Hotel heats things up with a new, themed room option: Suite 100 — The Golden Age of Hollywood Inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Room perks include a signed model release from one of Monroe’s sessions with photographer Joseph Jasgur, original contact sheets from the film Some Like it Hot, a library of books and films about Monroe’s life, and a custom-made Cartier frame that was one of the actress’s personal possessions, containing a gelatin print of her famous 1956 portrait by Cecil Beaton with a handwritten letter from Beaton. Add-ons include a Champagne Bath Bubble Menu and in-room dining from Marilyn’s Menu, with special offers such as Marilyn’s Ice Cream Sundae and DiMaggio’s Spaghetti and Meatballs. Rates begin at $3,795.

For an additional $1,914, guests can enrich their stay with The Norma Jean Experience, featuring extra amenities and services (also available a la carte). These include round-trip airport transfers in a vintage auto, welcome bottle of Dom Perignon, two Diamond Perfection body treatments in the hotel spa, a bottle of Chanel No. 5 perfume, two Norma Jean cocktails in Bar Nineteen12 (made with sparkling wine, vodka, Navan, honey and lemon), Marilyn’s Menu for two, breakfast for two on one morning, and gifts of The Beverly Hills Hotel – The First 100 Years commemorative book and TASCHEN coffee table book Norman Mailer/Bert Stern: Marilyn Monroe by Norman Mailer.
