Now that it is officially summer, I am starting to get excited about some of the things I have planned for the rest of the summer. Although I love low-key summer days hanging out in the pool and relaxing, you still have to take advantage of summer and all it has to offer.
This weekend I am looking forward to going to California with my friend Wesley to visit our friend Renee. It has been a couple years since we were all together, so I am very excited! While we are there, we are going to Disneyland during the day and then exploring the town at night. I have never been to Disneyland, so I am eager to go and see what it’s all about.
The next event I am looking forward to is going to a Phillies game in July with all my friends. I haven’t been to a Phillies game in probably two seasons. I love the atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park, and I’m glad we got enough tickets for all of us to sit together.
After the Phillies game, I am going down the shore to Ocean City, New Jersey. My family normally rents a house for a week in the summer, but this year we decided to do two weeks! I am planning on working from the beach house, but it will still be nice to have a change of scenery.
And lastly, in August, my best friend is getting married! I can’t wait to be in the wedding and celebrate the marriage of two of my friends. This has been an event we have been planning and talking about for more than one year now, so I am so excited to see it all come together.
