Let me preface: This is not a paid advertisement!
We can all agree being in Los Angeles is a blast. The one caveat is traffic; am I right, or am I right? We recently got back to sales trips, and I was lucky enough to have publisher and CEO Francis X. Gallagher with me in LA a few weeks ago. We went from the Valley to the South Bay in three days. For those not familiar with the area, that’s geographically not that challenging, but factor in the world-famous traffic and we’re on the same page.
I think one thing we can all agree on, regardless of where you are, subtract the driving factor and everything would be so much easier. We’ve surpassed carbon emissions limits of the planet, but there is no avoiding the need for a car to get around. On this last trip in Los Angeles, we partnered with a fantastic car service company called MOTEV. This company will plant a tree for every ride you book, and I cannot be happier about that. To top that off, they have a luxury fleet of electric cars to alleviate the pressure of making your way around the city. This is no Uber Black Fleet or whatever it’s called. This is your personalized car service around the city. They are even making city experiences available soon.
Let me tell you about the experience. Once you have your ride booked, you receive text communication notifying of your itinerary and assigned driver. We enjoyed our day of sales with Harry, who was mindful we were on a business trip. He arrived on time as outlined in our itinerary. Between meetings, both Fran and I were able to catch up on emails and calls. We enjoyed the perfect temperature and stayed hydrated throughout a full day of meetings. If you’re looking for a dependable, mindful company that will get you where you need to go, give MOTEV a try.
