New York City is kicking off the new year with Hotel Week from January 4–14. Participating hotels across the city are offering flat rates starting at $100 per night for rooms which are normally $500 or more.

Entering its eighth year, Hotel Week NYC benefits hotels and travelers. With the promotional campaign and reduced rates, hotels hope to rebound from the usual post-holiday dip in occupancy. Many hotels offer additional deals involving future stays, shows or restaurants.
From the consumer end, it is the perfect time for a quick trip to the Big Apple or a relaxing staycation for New Yorkers. It is an opportunity to try more than 20 hotels at greatly reduced rates.
Unfortunately for me, I will not be able to take advantage of this great deal this year. I am making a note to check HotelWeeklyNYC for next year. I’d like to ring in the new year with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden, a New York Rangers game and a cool hotel at a fantastic price.
