A Few Firsts in the Big Apple
It is always exciting to visit New York City, but this time felt extra special. My future sister-in-law is visiting from the Dominican Republic, and I had the chance to show her around the Big Apple. We made sure to check off a few “firsts” I’d never experienced before. From taking the tram to Roosevelt Island and catching the sunset on the Staten Island Ferry to celebrating Día de los Muertos in Times Square, this trip had a little bit of everything.

United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD
Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.
