Each year, airlines around the world send their first- and business-class wines to a blind tasting conducted by Global Traveler. Competition Director Eunice Fried compiles a panel of some of New York’s finest and most well-respected wine experts. While the afternoon blind tasting is closed to the public as the judges score the wines and determine the best wines being served at 30,000 feet worldwide, we host a cocktail reception that evening to give readers and partners a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the Wines on the Wing process.
