Valentine’s Day always feels special; however, this year’s Galentine festivities added a sweet cherry on top.
Starting off with a “favorite things” gift exchange, 10 (or so) of my girlfriends gathered at my friend Violet’s house for a night of pink sparkly cocktails and yummy girl dinner-inspired dishes such as Caesar salad, fries, charcuterie, pasta and, of course, chocolate-covered strawberries.
Playing games and listening to music, it was time to exchange gifts. I was most excited to give my gift, which was an Icon Juice Glass from Anthropologie, a Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment, and a few Grace & Stella under-eye masks.
The girls seemed to like it, too: The gift was stolen between one another as we participated in a White Elephant-style exchange.
I ended up receiving a Gym Shark workout bag; filled with all the necessary snacks, protein bars and fuel for a successful workout. Already packed and ready for the gym!
I’m looking forward to next year’s Galentine’s event with my favorite gals!
