Once again I was at Village Green for the last Wednesday on the Green music night this summer. This time it was for FeelGood, a Chicago-based tribute band I have wanted to see for a long time.
We started our night at Will’s Place for sandwiches to eat at the Green. Will’s Place offers delicious food in large servings. More importantly, Will’s is staffed by adults with developmental disabilities.
Among the first to arrive at the Green, we set up our chairs in what would become the front row. We enjoyed our sandwiches as we awaited the start of the show, watching a large crowd fill the area.
From the moment FeelGood hit the stage, the party was on. Performing covers of Chuck Berry through Gnarls Barkley, Feel Good showed its versatility. The energy and fun went nonstop for two hours.
On the way home we stopped at Village Inn to split a chocolate peanut butter thunder cake dessert and catch baseball recaps. It was a wonderful end to a beautiful summer night.

From its Salt Lake City (SLC) hub, Delta Air Lines launches a new Hawai‘i route this winter. Starting this December, the airline offers non-stop service from Salt Lake City to Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole on the Big Island. Marking the airline’s 17th route from the U.S. mainland to Hawai‘i, the service will operate on a Boeing 767-300ER through March 28, 2026.
