Explora Journeys recently announced its summer 2027 journeys, with an array of firsts for the luxury ocean travel brand.
The season introduces new ship EXPLORA IV. The ship will offer expanded public areas with large outdoor decks ensuring maximum comfort. EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II will sail the western and eastern Mediterranean, respectively, with more than 60 journeys including new ports. Explora Journeys will debut its Alaska sailings in summer 2027 aboard EXPLORA III. Highlights include A Journey Through Untamed Landscapes & Coastal Treasures (May 10–21, 2027) and An Extended Journey Across Alaska’s Wild Frontier (July 2–16, 2027).

The summer 2027 journeys will feature:
- EXPLORA I: Western Mediterranean
- EXPLORA II: Eastern Mediterranean
- EXPLORA III: Alaska
- EXPLORA IV: Western Europe, northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, the United States and Canada East Coast, and New England
“With the intention of savoring every moment, our Summer 2027 journeys have been thoughtfully crafted, as always, to enable flexibility, extended stays and deeper immersion at a gentler pace,” said Anna Nash, president, Explora Journeys. “We are thrilled to be introducing Alaska for the very first time and to be offering many of our 2027 journeys on two of our ultra-elegant new ships, EXPLORA III and IV.”
These new itineraries will be available March–November 2027.
