Avianca Airlines recently announced plans to expand its business-class service to more than 40 additional international routes across the Americas. Set to begin this September, the expansion will see more than 80 international routes operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with the service.
Starting Sept. 15, business-class service will be available:
- From Bogotá (BOG) to: Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Tampa (TPA), San Juan (SJU), Santo Domingo (SDQ), Punta Cana (PUJ), Cancún (CUN), Havana (HAV), Curaçao (CUR), San José (SJO) and more
- From Medellín (MDE) to: Mexico City (MEX), Miami (MIA), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Panama City (PTY), Cancún, Quito (UIO), San Juan, Guayanquil (GYE) and more
- From San Salvador (SAL) to: Toronto (YYZ), Boston (BOS), Ontario-Los Angeles (ONT), Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston (IAH), Miami, Guatemala City (GUA), San Pedro Sula (SAP) and more
Beginning Dec. 1, for the holiday season, the airline begins business-class service between San Salvador and Orlando (MCO); San Salvador and Montréal (YUL) on Dec. 2; San Salvador and Chicago (ORD) on Dec. 2; Medellín and Orlando on Dec. 3; and San Salvador and Las Vegas (LAS) Dec. 4.

Avianca’s Business Class Americas experience includes access to premium seats with extra recline and additional space in the first three rows of the aircraft, charging ports and access to Avianca’s On Air entertainment system via mobile devices. The experience also allows one personal item, one carry-on bag up to 22 pounds and two checked bags of up to 70.5 pounds each.
Passengers of Avianca’s business-class service also enjoy perks like free changes and refunds prior to departure, priority services (check-in, baggage drop-off and retrieval, and boarding), access to Avianca Lounges, and the ability to earn 10 LifeMiles for every dollar spent.
