Singapore-based Aqua Expeditions will undergo a massive global expansion next year.
Last week, Aqua Expeditions announced an expansion, which will increase the size of the fleet by 150 per cent and add destinations and tours to the organization’s catalogue.
“I am thrilled that after a decade of changing the face of river cruising on both the Amazon and Mekong Rivers we will extend our footprint to coastal cruising in additional soft adventure destinations,” said Galli Zugaro, CEO, Aqua Expeditions.
The expansion is funded by a $28 million capital injection from U.S.-based Bison Capital.
Aqua Expeditions launched in 2008. Since then, the organization brought luxury cruising to remote destinations. Company leadership insists the level of luxury and adventure customers have come to expect will remain pillars of the company’s product.
More information about the line’s new destinations and tours will be released in the coming weeks.
