Hawaiian Airlines now boasts the longest domestic flight in the United States.
The country’s new longest flight to set a record connects the northeastern city of Boston (BOS) with Honolulu, Hawai’i (HNL) — a journey of 5,095 miles.
Flights from Honolulu to Boston will last approximately 10 hours, and Boston to Honolulu flights will take approximately 11.5 hours. Flights leaving Boston depart in the morning and arrive in Hawai’i the same afternoon.
The Boston-to-Honolulu route will be available from Hawaiian Airlines five-times weekly.
Before the introduction of this route, Boston was the only major U.S. city without a direct flight to Hawai’i, but now Bostonians can fly from Boston Logan International Airport to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport without stopping.
