American Airlines is growing its reach in Mexico with new service to the city of Merida. The carrier will launch the new route March 3, 2016, between Manuel Crescencio Rejoin International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, with flights on sale now.
“The addition of Merida gives our customers 21 destinations in Mexico, and we’ll now operate nearly 120 daily flights between our two countries,” said Art Torno, senior vice president – international and cargo, American Airlines. “American was the first international airline to fly to Mexico in 1942 and we’ve been one of the leading international carriers in the country ever since.”
