American Airlines plans to offer passengers 20 new seasonal routes during the summer months of 2020.
New domestic, seasonal service includes routes between Philadelphia (PHL) and Martha’s Vineyard (MVY); Charlotte (CLT) and Martha’s Vineyard; Philadelphia and Nantucket (ACK); Philadelphia and Traverse City (TVC); Washington, D.C. (DCA) and Traverse City; and Dallas (DFW) and Portland (PWM).
New international seasonal service includes routes between Philadelphia and Casablanca (CMN); Chicago (ORD) and Krakow (KRK); Chicago and Prague (PRG); and Chicago and Budapest (BUD).
“Every year, we evaluate our network and look to create more routes and serve unique destinations whether we’re entering new markets like Casablanca or adding more service to places like Traverse City, Michigan,” said Vasu Raja, senior vice president of network strategy, American Airlines. “We continue to deliver the best network with the most options for our customers domestically and internationally during the most popular vacation time of the year.”
