The mid-market hotel brand will be the first on Palm Jumeirah when it opens in 2017 as Aloft Dubai, The Palm, as well as the first of the brand’s resort properties in the Middle East.

The United Arab Emirates remains our strongest growth market in the Middle East, and this deal reinforces the demand for mid-market hotel development in the region,” said Michael Wale, president, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Aloft Dubai, The Palm will have 192 guestrooms, 10 suites and beach access. Amenities will include SPG Keyless, free WiFi and free Bliss amenities. The property will also feature the signature Aloft dining options, such as W XYZ Bar and re:fuel by Aloft. There will be a fitness center and outdoor pool, as well as four meeting rooms.
“Aloft hotels continues to gain momentum around the world and is expected to quadruple its portfolio in the Middle East by 2019. The signing of Aloft Dubai, The Palm marks a milestone for the brand as its first resort-style property in the Middle East in one of the world’s most iconic destinations, The Palm Jumeirah,” said Neil George, senior vice president, acquisitions and development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Africa and Middle East.
