Alaska Airlines continues to expand service for San Diego (SAN) customers with the addition of daily, non-stop flights to Albuquerque (ABQ).
The new route is Alaska Airlines’ sixth non-stop destination to launch from San Diego since August, as the airline continues expanding along the West Coast. The airline will have 45 peak-day flights to 29 non-stop destinations from San Diego by the end of 2017.
“We continue to invest in our San Diego focus city, with nine new nonstop destinations in 2017,” said John Kirby, vice president of capacity planning, Alaska Airlines. “Whether traveling to Boston for business or Hawai’i for pleasure, San Diego travelers will love our convenient schedules, affordable fares and award-winning loyalty program.”
The new flight departs Albuquerque at 2:30 p.m., arriving in San Diego at 3:30 p.m. The return departs San Diego at 4:27 p.m., arriving in Albuquerque at 7:19 p.m. Horizon Air’s 76-seat Embraer 175 jets operate the flight, offering first- and premium-class services and in-flight WiFi.
