Boutique Corp. appointed AccorHotels to take charge in the management of an upcoming Thailand resort.
Novotel Chiang Mai Nimman Journeyhub is already under construction, expected to be ready for opening in 2019 with 200 rooms.
Chiang Mai is one of Thailand’s top tourist destinations and continues to show an impressive growth in occupancy rates year-on-year, particularly in the trendy Nimman district.
“By appointing AccorHotels to manage the Novotel in Chiang Mai, we see an excellent opportunity to strengthen our hotel portfolio, with an international name synonymous with modern, easy living and a reputation for a standardized full-service experience to meet every expectation,” says Prab Thakral, president and group CEO, Boutique Corp. Public Co. Limited.
AccorHotels executives describe the chance to work with Boutique as an exciting opportunity for the brand. The partnership represents a chance to extend AccorHotels into northern Thailand, said Patrick Basset, COO, AccorHotels for Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia and the Maldives.
