Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced plans to welcome 8,500 college graduates into its Enterprise Management Training program and 2,000 interns into the Management Internship program in 2018.
The new employees will be spread across Enterprise’s more than 5,800 locations around the country. And the dress code will be dramatically different: Trainees and interns will not be required to wear a tie.
“This more flexible dress code is in line with our evolving work environment and represents our commitment to our employees, whose feedback prompted this change,” Shelley Roither, vice president, Enterprise Holdings, said in a statement. “The new dress code will enable our teams to take care of their customers while still maintaining a professional image.”
Enterprise hires thousands of college-educated employees in its management and training programs each year. In 2018, CollegeGrad.com ranked Enterprise the No. 1 Entry-Level Employer; this was the 11th time the company grabbed the top spot.
