In January, Norwegian Cruise Line announced a series of routes for the 2019–2020 cruising seasons. The company’s brand-new Norwegian Bliss ship will sail from New York to the Bahamas this summer and will continue to sail during the following season l. The Bliss ship features the long-awaited, two-level electric racetrack, Broadway-caliber performances and 27 dining options on board. After the initial rollout, passengers can choose from 18 itineraries, including the Bahamas, Florida and the southern and western parts of the Caribbean.
Other warm-weather ventures are offered to passengers by the family-friendly Norwegian Gem, set to sail from New York to the Bahamas and Florida; the Norwegian Dawn, sailing from Tampa to the Bahamas for an abbreviated journey of five days; and the Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway ships, journeying from New Orleans to parts of the western Caribbean and Mexico. The Norwegian Epic will depart from San Juan, Puerto Rico, for voyages around the Caribbean.
In addition to these winter-break itineraries, NCL will introduce a few fall routes, sailing through the rivers and other waterways around Canada and New England.
