American Airlines will begin offering its Shuttle service between New York LaGuardia and Chicago O’Hare Airport April 4. The Shuttle will offer 15 flights each weekday, dedicated gates and complimentary beer and wine in the Main Cabin. (American currently operates Shuttle service between LGA and Boston Logan International Airport; LGA and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport; and DCA and BOS.) Starting June 8, Delta Air Lines will add one daily round-trip flight between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Washington-Dulles (IAD) and Kansas City (MCI) airports. A daily flight between Seattle and Indianapolis (IND) starts June 18. More details here. Delta also announced new daily service between Boston and Charleston, S.C., (CHS) to begin June 8. Additional flights between Boston and Jacksonville, Fla., (JAX), Kansas City, Nashville (BNA) and Pittsburgh (PIT) airports begin on June 8 as well. JetBlue’s premium Mint cabin debuts on a daily flight from Seattle-Tacoma to and from Boston, starting Feb. 15.

Hawaiian Airlines adds daily non-stop flights between Long Beach (LGB) and Honolulu (HNL) using the airline’s new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The inaugural flight leaves Honolulu for Long Beach May 31; the first flight from Long Beach to Honolulu takes off June 1. Flight schedules and more details here.

Icelandair adds seasonal non-stop service to Iceland’s Keflavík International Airport from Kansas City, Baltimore (BWI) and San Francisco (SFO). Thrice-weekly flights from Kansas City start May 25, and will fly Monday, Wednesday and Saturday on Boeing 757-200 aircraft. Seasonal service from Baltimore begins May 28 and will operate four times a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. And seasonal flights from San Francisco International Airport start June 1 and will operate four times a week — Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday — on a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The summer season for Icelandair ends around Oct. 15.

Qantas Airways will kick off new non-stop service, four times a week, between San Francisco International Airport to Melbourne, Australia (MEL), starting Sept. 1. The flight will be served by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. More details here.

And, starting June 7, United Airlines is adding new service between six of its domestic hubs and eight destinations in California, Ohio, North Dakota, South Dakota, Virginia and Wisconsin. New flights will operate between Chicago (ORD) and Bismarck, N.D. (BIS), twice daily, and daily between Denver (DEN) and both Appleton, Wis. (ATW) and Norfolk, Va. (ORF); between Houston (IAH) and both Akron/Canton, Ohio (CAK), and Dayton, Ohio (DAY); between Los Angeles (LAX) and Eureka, Calif. (ACV);  and between San Francisco (SFO) and Madison, Wis. (MSN).
