Travelers rejoice: Netflix is now allowing downloads for off-line entertainment, just in time for holiday travel.

Netflix users can now download movies and shows to their iOS or Android smartphones and tablets at no extra cost, which will then be accessible any time, including when users are off-line. This new offering eliminates the need to stream video on flights with poor or inconsistent internet service and in areas where WiFi isn’t offered.

While the entire collection of Netflix movies and shows is not available for download, the selection offers great titles including Stranger Things, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Orange is the New Black and Queen Elizabeth II, The Crown.

To start taking advantage of the new Netflix offer, download the Netflix app or update the existing app to the most recent version, and simply click the download button on your favorite programs.
