Hainan Airlines launched its first flights to Melbourne (MLB) from two Chinese cities. The new twice weekly services include routes from Xi’an and Changsha to Melbourne, offering a convenient new option for travel between Asia and Australia.
The Xi’an service will depart from Shaanxi (XIY) at 16:30 every Tuesday and Friday, and the Changsha route will depart from Hunan (CSX) every Wednesday and Sunday at 17:40.
The new routes were deployed on Hainan’s two-class, 292-seat Airbus A330 aircraft, configured with 36 flat-bed seats in business class and 256 seats in economy.
