LOT Polish Airlines entered a partnership with Polish Airports State Enterprise in 2011, guaranteeing transiting passengers the highest standard of quality. Together, the companies will work to improve passenger services, modernize the airport infrastructure and increase passenger traffic through Chopin Airport in Warsaw.

Other airline objectives include transforming the airport into a viable East-West transit hub, connecting passengers from both sides of the world to points across the globe.

One step closer to that goal, the airline introduced minimum connection times at Chopin Airport this year. Thanks to the schedule changes, LOT passengers enjoy more rapid transfers to connecting flights and a greater access to the airline’s extensive route network. More LOT flights are available than ever before to passengers transferring in Warsaw.

Polonez at Chopin

LOT opened its flagship lounge in Chopin Airport in 2011. Designed to greatly enhance the business-class experience for passengers, the LOT Polonez business-class lounge, at more than 5,600 square feet, includes separate areas for reception, relaxation and dining.

Comfort meets functionality in the lounge, furnished with leather armchairs and sofas. A wall of greenery and mini-waterfalls is the perfect spot to relax. A special room for families offers separate lavatories.

A continually enhanced lounge menu includes light meals, small plates, fruit and cheese. Choose from a large selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, such as beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

Conducive to working while in transit, the lounge has desktop workstations and complimentary WiFi. To catch up on news around the world, Polish and international newspapers, up-to-date iPads and magazines are available for perusal. Travelers can freshen up in the lounge’s luxurious showers.

The LOT Polonez business-class lounge is located in Terminal A inside the Schengen zone and past security, one floor above departures, and is accessible to LOT Elite Club passengers, Miles & More HON and Senator cardholders and Star Alliance Gold members.
