The Alexander, Autograph Collection, in downtown Indianapolis, recently opened a dedicated suites wing, available now for reservations. The debut of 52 residential-style suites builds on the hotel’s spring renovation and transition to Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
The new collection of accommodations comprises 16 two-bedroom suites and 36 studio king suites. Two-bedroom suites feature two private bedrooms, each with its own full en-suite bathroom, along with a separate living room and dining area. Four suites boast fully equipped kitchens. Each studio king suite pairs a king-sized bed with a sleeper sofa.
“Our new suites give guests even more ways to experience downtown Indianapolis,” said Randy Diamond, regional vice president, Operations, Pivot. “Whether relocating to the city, coming in for a weekend game or concert, traveling for business or simply seeking more space, guests can effortlessly settle in and make Indianapolis their own with the energy of downtown just outside their door.”
The suites continue a design story inspired by the history, culture and identity of Indianapolis, which draws from architect Alexander Ralston’s original vision for Indianapolis. Warm millwork, fluted detailing, sleek metal framing, forest greens, earthy terracotta accents and layered textures are highlights of the aesthetic. Above each headboard, a mural-like wallcovering reinterprets Indianapolis’ iconic street grid. Other design highlights include marbled surfaces, sculptural lighting and rhythmic carpet patterns.
The suites wing unveiling completes The Alexander’s multimillion-dollar renovation. Earlier this year, the hotel debuted reimagined guestrooms, refreshed meeting and event spaces, an expanded art program, and transformed public spaces and outdoor plaza, as well as updates to Plat 99 social lounge.

Oct 28, 2026Review: Caribe Royale Orlando
It’s truly its own universe: Caribe Royale Orlando is a sprawling property beckoning you forward with its coral pink exterior spanning many towers and buildings. The two-level lobby alone feels more like a community than a hotel lobby, with a Starbucks; access to the signature restaurant (in the midst of renovations), sports bar and gift shop; and a plethora of seating options. The bilevel layout also makes the entire space seem larger, opening up to the massive pool awaiting just behind the back doors.

Oct 23, 2026The Flight Less Taken: Unsung Carriers Whisk You Away to Far-Flung Destinations
The miracle of flight feels slightly less miraculous these days. Endless delays, cramped seating and shortchanged amenities feel par for the course, and one can easily forget the wondrous fact that you’re hurtling above planet Earth, soaring above the clouds and across the skies to your destination of choice. In the olden days, you were limited to the fallibility of your outrigger canoe or horse-drawn carriage. It’s not hyperbolic to invoke the invention of the wheel when reminding oneself to stay calm and carry on in coach.
