Demand for presidential suites is booming, and 2025 marks a special year for three hotels when it comes to the best of the best in suites. From the most expensive suite in Fort Lauderdale to a bi-level, cliffside villa in Costa Rica, these three presidential suites are ready to set a new standard in 2025.

Set to debut early next year, the presidential suite at this property can be found at the tip of Dubai’s most exclusive private beach. This suite spans more than 3,300 square feet, with an additional 2,800-square-foot terrace featuring a private plunge pool overlooking the Arabian Gulf. This suite embraces nautical detailing as a nod to the glamor of life at sea and the elegance of a superyacht, complete with skyline views. A stay in this suite also means access to the resort’s five pools, 82-berth superyacht marina, 11 world-class restaurants, nine bars and the three-floor Talise Spa.

This presidential suite, opening in January 2025, will be the city’s most expensive suite, with prices starting at $10,000 per night. Across this 3,000-square-foot suite atop the 15th floor of the resort’s tower, guests are spoiled with natural light across two bedrooms and bathrooms, a wraparound terrace, private media room, custom-designed bars and dedicated workout space. Each room evokes a 1960s feel with sunset-inspired color palettes. Guests of the suite also have access to the largest superyacht on the eastern seaboard, 12 dining venues, multiple pools and a massive spa.

Next spring marks the opening of this resort’s newest presidential suite … well, villa, to be more precise. The Waldorf Astoria Presidential Suite, which overlooks Playa Penca, spans three bedrooms and is designed in a bi-level layout. The suite includes free-standing soaking tubs, a kitchen, dining area for eight guests and various gathering spaces. And while not a presidential suite, the property also boasts the Pacifico Suite, another signature space with three bedrooms across one floor, complete with two pool areas.

Jun 3, 2025Now’s the Time to See Giza, the Nile and Beyond
All archaeology-obsessed eyes turned hopefully toward Egypt earlier this year when the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum outside Cairo finally began welcoming visitors after construction delays, funding roadblocks and political upheaval in the region (among other factors) conspired to keep things delayed for many long years. As I write this letter, I am halfway across the Atlantic Ocean on my return from an epic golf trip in Ireland. The weather was magnificent: sunshine and no rain ... quite unusual by Irish standards. We were happy to leave our rain gear and extra warm clothing in the hotel rooms as we headed out every day.
