Opened in April 2024, Santo Mine is a luxury resort property in the Greek village of Oia on the island of Santoríni, surrounded by the waters of the Aegean Sea. Pnoé Spa, located within the new property, is the ideal destination for relaxation and stunning views of the famous Santoríni sunsets.
The Santo Collection, a collection of sustainable and luxurious properties in Oia, opened its newest additions to the collection this year with Santo Mine Oia Suites, a 37-suite luxury property overlooking the Aegean, and The Villas by Santo Collection, two new, independent four-bedroom luxury villas nestled in a secluded setting.

Santo Mine is carved into the cliffs of Oia at the site of an old stone mine above Ammoudi Bay, surrounded by the rugged landscape and the sea. The 37 individual suites are outfitted with a private pool or Jacuzzi, and direct views of the sunsets. The village of Oia lies just a short walk away, and the minimum age for resort guests is 12 years.
The resort’s Alme Restaurant is open for dinner, with specialties such as a calamari with wild Cretan oregano and a varied selection of fresh fish dishes prepared with products and ingredients from top producers in Crete and other Aegean islands.

As I write this letter, I am halfway across the Atlantic Ocean on my return from an epic golf trip in Ireland. The weather was magnificent: sunshine and no rain ... quite unusual by Irish standards.
