Turkish Airlines created a new business-class suite, Crystal Business Class, set to become available on transcontinental flights. These suites will be installed on the airline’s Airbus A350s on order, as well as retrofitted on its Boeing 777 aircraft.
The suites will feature real marble side tables and locally sourced leather, as well as the airline’s first adjustable doors. Suites also include an expanded footwell and unrestricted views from window seats. Seats are in a 1-2-1 configuration, with each equipped with a 22-inch personal entertainment screen.
Seats also boast a wireless charging pad, universal and USB-C charging ports, an adjustable mirror, and a noise-canceling audio jack. The new suites in the Boeing 777s means the middle seat will be removed to fit the new 1-2-1 arrangement. Seats are 23 inches wide.
Turkish Airlines also announced plans to provide free and fast WiFi to all passengers (not just business class and other loyalty member program members) by 2025.
