Ireland’s Dromoland Castle, in County Clare, is now home to Castle Spa, a beauty and wellness sanctuary inspired by the property’s 500 acres of flower-covered grounds and the estate’s former chatelaine, Lady Ethel, who presided over the castle in the early 1900s.

Spanning 320 square feet, Castle Spa boasts six treatment rooms and incorporates revitalizing nature- and science-backed therapies from three award-winning, female-owned brands: SEABODY, Dr. Barbara Sturm and OSKIA. Dromoland Castle is the first hotel in Ireland to offer exclusive treatments from Dr. Barbara Sturm. Other treatments exclusive to the spa include the SEABODY Beauty and Wellness Spa Experience.

Castle Spa, designed by Ireland’s KDK Sisters, with spa robes hailing from Deborah Veale of Dublin, steeps guests in an oasis of peace. Spa refreshments feature strawberries, mint and other garden botanicals, as well as The Whisper Room. Here, guests enjoy a guided 20-minute meditation through Lady Ethel’s favorite hidden corners of the castle’s rose gardens. Castle Spa also features an Amber and Quartz Crystal Bed for detoxifying the body, encouraging physical and mental relaxation and boosting the immune system.
