New York Marriott Marquis officially completed extensive renovations, welcoming guests to experience its transformed spaces, including newly designed guestrooms, restaurants, public spaces and meeting and event spaces. Inspired by the electric energy of the city, the hotel’s refurbishments create opportunities for new experiences for guests.

The eighth-floor lobby underwent a transformation, including new installations to bring in natural light, a lit acrylic 3-D sculpture by Parachilna and Kaleidoscope-inspired artwork by Kalisher. Located on the ninth floor, The Terrace features open event space under a soaring atrium, connecting the expanded Marquis Ballroom to the Jolson, Cantor and Barrymore rooms. The Broadway Ballroom and Marquis Theatre boast newly designed carpets and wall coverings, as well as a state-of-the-art sound system.

The hotel’s 1,971 guestrooms now include updated, modern design, complete with mounted, high-definition televisions; expanded closets ;and deluxe walk-in showers with spa-like lighting. Neutral colors provide a calming atmosphere against the backdrop of the busy city. Guests will also continue to enjoy access to thoughtfully curated in-room TED content.

New York Marriott Marquis also partnered with the renowned Union Square Hospitality Group and Union Square Events on food and beverage concepts across its three updated restaurants. Broadway Lounge offers wood-fired pizzas, gourmet snacks and handcrafted cocktails, while Reve & Rye Bar and Restaurant boasts an extensive wine and American whiskey list.
