Maine will boast three new hotels just in time for summer, adding to its already esteemed collection of inns, hotels and resorts. In Bar Harbor, the town’s newest lodging, Queen Anne’s Revenge, named after the famed pirate ship, incorporates designs evoking the era of the Tall Ships. Created out of what once were five separate summer cottages, the property is slated to open this June. The hotel will feature rooms of different sizes, furnishings and layouts to offer guests a unique experience each and every time.

Also situated in Bar Harbor, Salt Cottages is scheduled to open on Fourth of July weekend. The perfect example of a coastal Maine getaway, Salt Cottages boasts upgraded amenities overlooking Hull’s Cove. With 40 accommodations, 30 of which are stand-alone cottages and 10 as motor lodge rooms, Salt Cottages caters to both couples and families. The owner of The Claremont, Tim Harrington, bought the former Colony Cottages to breathe new life into this property.

The third hotel coming to Maine this summer sits in Biddeford. The Lincoln Hotel will offer 33 stylish guestrooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar. Harrington is also behind the development of this hotel, with the aim of providing guests with a relaxing experience in close proximity to Biddeford’s dining and cultural scene, art galleries and artisan shops.
