Travelers look to hit the road this summer. Between the vaccine rollout and revised CDC guidelines for domestic travel, rental car demand in the United States is high.
Travel insurance provider Allianz Partners reviewed data from 236,000 rental car reservations of Americans traveling between Memorial Day and Labor Day with rental providers offering Allianz Rental Car Damage Protector.
Florida and Hawai’i both had two cities each in the top 10.
Top 10 destinations for summer car rentals:
- Orlando, Florida
- Denver, Colorado
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Honolulu, Hawai’i
- Maui, Hawai’i
- Anchorage, Alaska
- Miami, Florida
- Los Angeles, California
- Seattle, Washington
- Phoenix, Arizona
