Arrival/Check-in: I drove from LAX, and once I entered Beverly Hills, I found the Montage very quickly with good directions from the hotel. Pulling into the Montage felt like pulling into a decadent and exclusive home-away-from-home. The valet took my car and welcomed me to the hotel. The front desk receptionist took my name, and another staff person escorted me to my suite. Just as we finished the brief in-room check-in, my luggage arrived. (30/30)
Guest Quarters: The whole hotel made me feel like I was living in the dream world of old Hollywood, only with every modern convenience. My Garden Suite offered all the comforts of home and more. The king-sized bed and bedroom could be separated from the living room by folding doors. I had a charming terrace overlooking the Beverly Canon Gardens. The living area had an L-shaped couch that also accommodated a queen-sized bed. Both living areas had big-screen LCD televisions and ample workspace. The bathroom was a luxury in itself, with separate shower and deep bath, mosaic tiles, marble and rich wood furnishings. (30/30)
Services/Amenities: The hotel has a tremendous spa, fitness center and celebrity hair stylist all in-house. The rooftop pool and cabanas are not to be missed; and I had lunch at the rooftop Conservatory Grill, where I could enjoy the pool scene and sunshine without getting my hair wet. Lunch was good, but the scene was well worth the investment. The lobby lounge with its helpful and friendly staff was an excellent place to meet people and conduct informal appointments. The business center was difficult to find at first, but once I did I was helped immediately. One of the best features of the Montage Beverly Hills is its location. It’s within walking distance of all the chic offerings of Beverly Hills from shopping on Rodeo Drive to the fine dining and celebrity sightings the city is known for. However, if I decided to give my high heels a break, the house Maybach was able to give me a lift around the neighborhood if it was available. (37/40)
The Experience: From check-in to check-out I was pleased with my stay. I was able to conduct my meetings there, and the staff made my temporary office elegant and efficient. My suite was peaceful and welcoming to return to each evening. When I first looked around the room, I thought I was seeing things; but I did notice correctly that a decorative pillowcase had my own initials in the monogram — a true personal touch to make VIP guests feel extra special.concierge was full of creative and useful tips, from entertaining clients to driving directions. I enjoyed using the Montage as my business base and can’t wait to come back again — for business or pleasure.

May 28, 2025Williamsburg Inn Review
You don’t have to love brass chandeliers or brocade to appreciate what Williamsburg Inn does best: delivering a polished, unpretentious stay amid America’s most iconic living history museum. This is where you check in for traditional luxury without feeling like you’re trapped in a time capsule. The Queen stayed here (twice), and so did Eisenhower, but you’re not here to make history. You’re here to enjoy it, on your own terms.
