For home-bound parents with restless kids, Austin Adventures can help. Give yourselves a much-needed break between lessons and worksheets with the free, educational online service Virtual Adventures for Kids — now extended through May.
The virtual class offers kids an informative glimpse inside beloved destinations. It might even inspire a family trip in the near future — all from the couch. Get an inside look at such destinations as South Dakota, Holland and the Grand Canyon, to name a few.

The series continues with a Costa Rican adventure called “The Land of Fire,” hosted April 16.
Days later, check back in for the Life is Good Adventures’ “The Power of Positivity” April 23.
The following week, virtually jet off to Peru for the “The Land of the Inca” adventure April 30.
