Day 3

With just about 300 miles between Oslo and Bergen, seeing both cities in one trip is entirely doable. The scenic train ride between the two cities averages about a seven-hour trip. Two of the country’s largest airport are in Oslo (OSL) and Bergen (BGO). A flight between the two cities is about 50 minutes. Make your way to Bergen via your preferred method of transportation. The city is situated on the southwestern coast and surrounded by mountains and fjords. Take the Fløibanen funicular up Fløyen mountain, located close to the city center. With its coastal location, Bergen is a great destination for fresh seafood. Head to Bergen Fish Market where you can browse fresh fish, produce and other goods, and enjoy a meal at one of the market’s restaurants. The historic market has been open since the 1200s. Visit Old Bergen Museum. The open-air museum is a reconstructed town featuring about 50 wooden houses. Stay overnight at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bergen.
