Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai announced plans for extensive renovations, with aims to completely transform the hotel. As a result, the property is closing June 1. When the property reopens at a yet-to-be-disclosed time, it will offer 233 new guestrooms and suites, and new dining options, fitness and wellness spaces and event spaces totaling more than 20,000 square feet.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai. This renovation program will completely reimagine the facilities, features and experiences at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai to delight local residents as well as global travelers,” said Adrian Messerli, regional vice president and general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.
“We have enjoyed a strong partnership with Four Seasons since 2011 and we are delighted to embark on this renovation program. It represents our commitment to quality and excellence, which are values that we share with Four Seasons, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration with them,” added William Doo, chairman, Fungseng Prosperity Holdings Limited, the holding company of Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.
Guests should look for special promotions recognizing the renovations, as Four Seasons plans to introduce a range of offers this year to honor its new look and experiences.
