IHG Hotels and Resorts debuts four new luxury properties around the world this summer.
InterContinental Chantilly Chateau Mont Royal
Slated to open this month, this chateau is located in France’s Chantilly Forest, near Paris. The property maintains 20th-century Louis XVI architecture, while incorporating modern elements. Explore on-site amenities including an indoor heated pool, sauna, spa, fitness center, tennis courts and kids club. The resort also offers two fine-dining restaurants. Le Stradivarius is located within the chateau’s former library, while Opéra offers a French brasserie experience.

Situated along the Agios Nikolaos coastline in Greece, this recently opened property offers guests state-of-the-art amenities. Experience the property’s wellness offerings including an indoor heated pool, private and couples’ treatment rooms, a hammam, sauna, steam room, and relaxation area. The property also boasts two infinity pools overlooking Mirabello Bay, including an adults-only area with a pool, restaurant and bar. Dine in the three on-site restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine, plus three bars.

Also located in Budapest, this luxury property will debut this month. Home to 48 guestrooms and suites, the property also features a Finnish sauna, steam room, whirlpool and spa. Dine in the hotel’s Michelin-recommended restaurant, Flava, which serves North African, Latin American and Middle Eastern cuisine with a Hungarian spin.

It’s about 1 p.m. Central European Time on a Thursday, and I'm riding on a boat off the coast of Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city, scouting for seals basking in the sun on the rocky outcroppings that dot the sea. Thanks to my captain, who lived all his life on one of the islands of the Gothenburg archipelago, we find them quickly, delighted to watch them move, play and hop in and out of the water. By 4 p.m. I am back at my virtual office, ready to start my business day just as most of my North American clients are coming online.
